Yasmin Dar

Yasmin Dar attracts attention wherever she goes with her stunning exotic look and warm beautiful smile. She is a professional model and actress who has the brains to go along with the beauty.

In 2002, Yasmin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Aiea High School where she was the Captain of Speech and Debate. In December, 2006, she earned a degree in Biology at The University of Hawaii at Manoa where she was on the Dean's list for many semesters. In college, Yasmin participated in a biomedical research project and her work was published in the prestigious Science Journal and also won poster presentation awards for her work.

Yasmin's modeling credits include ad campaigns for Homeworld, The Royal Hawaiian Center, Harley Davidson of Honolulu, L & L Hawaiian Barbeque, Whaler's Village, The Tower Grill at The Aloha Tower Marketplace, Outrigger Hotel, Crazy Shirts, T & C, Ala Moana Magazine, Wedding Coordination Companies and more. Her face has graced the pages of publications such as Seventeen, In Magazine, The Fil-Am Courier, Midweek, The Honolulu Star Bulletin and The Honolulu Advertiser.

You can also catch Yasmin on the runway in high-profile fashion shows for The Wedding Expo, The Betsey Johnson Fashion Show presented by Aveda, Macy's and The Aveda Hair and Make-Up Show at the Ala Moana Shopping Center.

In addition, Yasmin has appeared in national television shows "Lost" and "Hawaii" and in international commercials and was featured in Emme Tomimbang's "Island Moments" in a documentary about the Filipino Centennial.

Yasmin has also entered beauty pageants and won her first title of Miss Teen International Hawaii in 2003. In 2004, she represented Hawaii in the Philippines' Mutya Ng Pilipinas and was a Top Ten Finalist. In 2006, Yasmin entered the Miss Hawai USA Pageant and was chosen as the Second Runner-Up to the Crown.

With her busy schedule, Yasmin still finds time to do community service for charitable organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House, Kapiolani Hospital, Big Brother Big Sister and in 2007 was an inspirational speaker for The Adult Friends for Youth Tour.

Yasmin hosted the television show "Destination: Groove Dance Hawaii" with Jordan Segundo in 2007 on KHNL 8. She is now a host on "Ohana Road" and loves being a part of this great team.
